Anyone had any experience w/ a Volquartsen replacement trigger for the Ruger MKIII 22/45? The factory trigger is pathetic. I had one of their triggers in a custom Don Fraley 10/22 once, and wasn't impressed at all. Brownells has them for~$100.
I used a Clark Custom Guns Steel Ruger Trigger, Volquartsen Custom Target Sear and a Clark Custom Guns MKII Hammer Bushing (to eliminate the magazine disconnect safety) with great results.
I have the full Volquartsen kit in mine and it works really great. However, the trigger pull is so light I don't dare let anybody but an experienced user shoot it. I'm looking for a way to slightly increase the pull weight.
