Would you shoot this Extra stage? (If there were no ammo shortage) I'm thinking out loud here.
Course
After the normal course of fire is completed at a one or 2 day comp there is a bonus "Run-n Gun" competition. For this comp you will repeat the first 3 or 4 shots from every stage of the competition. You'll have to move from stage to stage with all your gear on one continuous clock. When you need to reload you reload but you are still on the clock. Finishing in a par time is bonus points.
Scoring
2 points for 1st impact - 1 point for 2nd (dead target scoring so you might only shoot 2 shots a stage if you hit both firsts)
+1 point for each minute(?) ahead of the par time.
Classes - Bolt and SemiAuto.
Additional Thoughts and Concerns
What do you think? fun or stupid?

Additional Thoughts and Concerns
- This could be a side bet thing, a cash game, or even a sponsored stage with a prize.
- ROs will be the hard part and score keeping.
- You could have the ROs choose the targets and distance for thier stage so the shooters don't know what target/yardage they will have and have to find the data. When the shooter gets to the stage the RO says "circle @440". Then once shot they say "coyote @621". Or you could do the first 3-4 shots of a stage to keep it simple.
- You'll get a 3 or 4 stage buffer from the shooter behind you, if they catch you you have to stop and let them shoot but your time is still moving. (reload your mags here.)
- Matches with a tight firing line will be quicker then firing lines spread out but adding movement is the name of the game here.
- Scoring could be negative for misses.
- Finishing over the par time could be negative points
- Could add a challenge or optional target at the end that would be a "Go-no go" shoot. +5 points if hit, -5 points if missed or -10 for a bad shot like a hostage target.
- the comp could be 8 stages or all 10 or just 4 if you want to go quick and save rounds and barrels.
