Hello,
Anyone own a S&B 3-27x?? I’m thinking about buying one and just swapping it between my rifles. I typically pick a rifle and shoot it for a few months and then swap to another so having one high end scope in that respect won’t be a big deal to me.

What’s your opinion on the scope? Good, bad, & ugly?

Scopes I’ve owned for a reference if you’re going to be comparing: k624i(didn’t like), gen2 Rzr(actually like & I own three), and ATACR 7-35x(liked but it was like looking through a straw).

And if you happen to know a dealer that has a good price have them PM me if you don’t care.

I have the scope you are asking about. It’s a great scope in my opinion. Very crisp/clear glass even compared to my 5-25 pm2 and no tunneling on any power. I actually have come to like the MTC turrets especially after they get used some and aren’t as stiff. I have shot mine out to 2000 yards and H59 works great.

Much better glass than the Kahles 624i and I fell it has the edge on the gen 2 razor, I’ve owned both. The glass could be argued on the NF I compared them side by side at mile high out side to 1800 yards when I bought mine and I liked the s&b better, but have not owned the 7-35 so can’t say for sure overall. Let me know if you have any more specific questions.

How’s the parallax? Does it go parallax free on the indicated ranges on the parallax knob?

How’s the eye box and eye relief?

Parallax is very good and forgiving. Most of my time has been at 1350 and out on this rifle, I have it in an axmc and 6.5 saum and 300 Norma switch barrel so I don’t spend much time inside that.

Eye box is good, it’s not the most forgiving scope I’ve had but sure not finicky either.

These are both relatively subjective, and these are my impressions from comparison to other scopes I’ve owned. I’ve had a friend shoot it and said eye box was very forgiving compared to his optics.
