Just wondering if the Illumination knob position on a PM II is a problem with a LH bolt action. Looking at the scope body,it looks like there might be clearance issues.
Anyone use the S&B on a LH bolt action.

I have used SB on a Stiller tac 30 and a defiance deviant with no problem. I just put the optic another space or two forward on my Picatinny rail and there is no interference.

It’s all in how you setup your rifle for eye relief.
If you do run into interference issues, I think it’s $100 for SB in Virginia to remove the illumination

Cool, yeah I just replaced a gen 2 razor that I love, but the SB is just enough better to justify it. Especially with the new D2+ turrets and gr2id reticle

I went through the same worry about it.

good luck

Yep good deals on pm2’s in the px. That way if you find that it doesn’t work out for whatever reason you can get most of your money back.
I got my first SB for a right handed rifle and tried it on a couple left handed rifles and it was good. I used 1.5” high spuhr mounts and a 1.46” high Era-Tac

I just told lamero that I'll take the PM II he just listed in the PX,so I'll get to see if it'll work on my Nucleus action. If not,I have a RH Savage action that I can swap out the scopes with the Nucleus.

I'm a left handed shooter. I bought a PMII from a user here that happened to be a left handed shooter too. He had the illum knob removed by S&B for $300 prior to selling the scope to me. I don't have illumination now, but the scope is still fantastic, and the bolt on my AIAT has plenty of clearance (mounted in a spuhr 4001). I may upgrade to a ZCO one day, but for now my PMII checks all the boxes I need and want checked.

I received my scope today, and it mounted just fine on my LH Nucleus action. All I had to do was move the rear scope ring a few notches forward on the rail to clear the illumination knob. The bolt handle clears the scope by a mile,no issues there.
I'll try to get to the range tomorrow to sight it in,and take a few pics of it on the rifle.
