Hi everyone.

I'm an Italian gun enthusiast they offered me a S&B PM2 FFP 3-12X50 P4L Fine.

Is the reticle too thin for long range shooting?

I would shoot with a FN SPR in 308 win Thank you Thank you

thanks for the replies. the problem is that I wanted to be able to use it also for hold off shooting. in optimal light conditions and with white targets I think it's fine. I don't want it to cause me problems when the weather isn't good and the targets are dark.

I'm a huge fan. If you're not shooting competitions (probably very usable there too) or have any other need for a Christmas tree type reticle it is excellent. I have it in a 3-20 PMII, and would echo the comments on holds not being usable below 6x power. That said, you're probably not really using them down there anyway. The center reticle is absolutely usable between 12 and 20 for me.

I finally decided to buy the optics. I tried it and the reticle, although fine, can be seen clearly even in non-optimal light conditions.

An info: I noticed that the elevation turret was not doing the double turn. this is because the previous owner had consumed most of the clicks to zeroing it.
Having a 20 moa base I should have no problem regaining them.

How can I restore the rearsight to the factory conditions to start with my zeroing?

Thank you.
