Sidearms & Scatterguns S&W 19-3 value?

Anyone have an approx value of a S&W 19-3 with 6" barrel in great shape. Buddy found one in an attic and wants approx value. Any help highly appreciated

It has been quite a while but $650 plus or minus $100 was ballpark for the last that I bought or saw sold.

Blue Book says 98% condition is worth $495 down to $275 in 90% condition with a $14 addition for your 6" barrel and another $35 for white outline rear site and another $60 for TS, TT, TH, RR and WO. That being said, shops in my area have been ratcheting up their prices on older Smith's.
