S&W free magazine promotion...

Do you guys find the rebate process for getting the 5 free M&P15 magazines a little to big brotherish or am I just being paranoid? I just find giving the manufacturer and the company they have sourced this out to my serial number, name, and address on the original receipt a little much... I guess it is true of all rebates for products though... I just think a little differently when it comes to firearms.

Yes you are paranoid! S&W does not sell or give out personal information without a court order. Or ATF audit
