I read on the GA Precision web site that semi-autos require a different technique than a bolt to get maximum accuracy. What exactly is different?

I have been working up some handloads for a precision AR that I put together for coyote hunting. I suspect this may explain some of the inconsistency that I have been experiencing. A group of one load will shoot into .3-.4 MOA on one group, then open up to 0.9-1.2 for a subsequent group. I dont have any problems getting .5-.6 MOA or less with my bolt gun so I am confident that I am not entirely at fault. I have had several friends shoot it with the same results.

3 recoil phases. The phases are recoil from the round, the bolt going towards the stock and then the bolt being pushed back in to battery. I;ve heard the round is still in the barrel when the gun starts to recoil so the gun moves before the bullet has left the barrel resulting in decreased accuracy. Look at the trigger technique for semi-autos it touches on recoil.

This is covered thoroughly in the Online Training.

I can shoot a bolt gun well enough, but mastering the AR15 and AR10 types is going to be a new learning experience.
