Hey guys just curious how you prefer to store your pistols in your safe. My safe is on the small side. I've seen the door hanging things, but I'm more interested in utilizing my top shelf for pistols. Do you guys like the foam stacked organizers, or do you think the wire ones are better?

Probably get better answers in the armory, not here in the Pit.

I personally use those caliber-specific Z-shaped rods that hang the pistol under the shelf and above the vertically stored long guns, but since you’re asking here, if you’re not stacking them like this, you’re doing it wrong:

I have a bunch of borestores.com , both rifle and handgun and even knife sized.
Write on them with tape what they are , either place them side by side , or even stack them in my safe.
Silicone infused , padded , they work for me !!View attachment 8578753

Gray silicone bags. Manilla wire tagged. In a plastic tub. About 20 in each tub. Tub on tub. Take them out once per year, in dead of winter with the lowest humidity, wipe them completely with brownell's anti-rust. Never a problem. The ones I depend on are either on my person or held by magnets in strategic locations.
