That’s a bad slogan, we were told we could keep our plans, then we couldn’t.

Agreed! Was the first thing I thought.

Unnecessary posturing for the simps. 2nd Amendment is clear. SCOTUS has been clear in rulings the past 15 years. It is really a matter of "enforcing" the 2nd Amendment and punishing those that violate it.
The problem with that is that you have to take action *after* a law is in place. That means the law is almost always in effect until it's overturned.....and that's *if* it's overturned. And there's no real recourse if say you're in jail for a year and released when it's overturned.
It would be ideal if we could just say "nope, not doing that." Or there was some type of recourse after the fact.
A law like this would greatly reduce the need to "enforce" the 2a and saving a lot of time and money.
"Shall not be infringed" is pretty fuckin clear.
SCOTUS is at best barely interested in the 2nd. They are currently deciding whether to grant Cert. to an Assault Weapons Ban case where the courts in Maryland ignored current law (Bruen) and told the SCOTUS to go fuck itself. And still we aren't sure if the SCOTUS is going to take up the case...Check the status of AR15 purchasing in Illinois...
Tell me about that SCOTUS stopping the shit...
Why doesn't this type of shit have to be qualified by SCOTUS before being foisted?...

It seems that they're wanting to make things illegaller. It's a new law to follow the law?
We need less laws... not more.
