So I'm thinking about getting a Sage EBR stock for my Springfield Armory Super Match and I have a couple of questions.
Is it worth the money? I got the oversided walnut stock and glass bedding and a rear lugged reciever and I'm curios if it improve the accuracy that much. I know that the EBR stock will hold its accuracy over time unlike the glass bedded stock that will get beat up the more I shoot it.
I have a Smith Enterprise scope mount. Will it still work with the EBR?
What does the EBR come with? Does it come with the front handguard...

Re: Sage EBR stock

I've done the Springfield National match in the EBR stock, and as long as the first part of your barrel is not too much thicker, it should drop in just fine.

I'm not sure about improving the accuracy as much as changing the entire ergonomics of the rifle. For the long haul, the EBR stock would stand up to way more use and abuse.

The EBR stock does come with the front handguard (I removed it for more bipod, front grip etc).

You can use the smith enterprise mount, that goes on the side of the receiver, but you may decide depending on your scope and mount, to get the rear sight block and do a more standard top mount.

Make sure to order the chassis designed for heavy barreled guns (they make 2, the difference is the top piece)

Re: Sage EBR stock

You may want to double check that the sage will work with a rear lugged receiver.yes I believe it is worth it. Very solidly built and there is a noticeable improvement in accuracy.

Standard lug ONLY, the SAGE EBR chassis stock will not accept a rear lugged receiver.

This one has a medium heavy Crazy Horse barrel and a Smith Enterprise scope mount. The Poly Tech receiver has a standard lug.

There is a Heavy Barrel SAGE EBR chassis in the works. No rear lug needed.
