Sako A7 Receiver "Shape"

Excuse me if this is the wrong forum to post this to as I am new to this site.

I have a Sako A7 300 Win Mag which I am considering getting a new stock for. When shopping I see some stocks' descriptions list they accept Remington 700, for example, or Sako 85 or Tikka T3 but I've never seen Sako A7. My question is what should I be looking for?? Is my A7 receiver the same shape as any other Sako or maybe it's the same as a T3??? Maybe it's completely different??

It's different than both. I had an A7 long range in 300 win, other than having a custom builder inlet for it there aren't alot of off the shelf choices. Maybe Bell and Carlson.

You can get a McMillan game warden or McMillan hunter for A7, the receiver is different inlet from both the 85 and T3

+1 on the McMillan. If you go to their webstore then have a lot of options for stocks ready to inlet where you can specify all that and the lead times are only a month or two vs 6+ plus for a custom stock order.
