I have a quad range that I am starting to shoot and I was curious about a bedding block for it. Interested in finding an aluminum block one could install into the quad range stock to secure things up. I know a few companies make these for larger rifles, just unsure about this one.

My other thought was to sell the range stock and pick up a manners or mcmillian stock.

Curious if anyone here has any experience or thoughts

I think Don Stith was doing bedding blocks in his BR rimfire stocks. Finfires and Quads.

I bedded my quad in a McMillan a few years back. A little more tricky because of the switch barrel but anyone with bedding knowledge can pull it off.

Suppose on the other side of things I could attempt to sell the range stock and get something different, or possibly trade someone.

I do have an email out to Don asking about his bedding block. Not holding my breath, but figured it was worth a shot.

That would work,I just have a tendency of going overboard. Lol

Have been looking at the McMillian A5 currently, but would have to sell the range stock to fund it. So not sure I want to screw with anything just yet

Pillar and glass bedding it will be a better fit than a pre machined block. The epoxy will be perfect fit all around the action. These ain’t for the occasional person who beds stock but anyone who is good at bedding a stock could do it with ease.
