Sako Quad feeding-problems

I have some feeding issues with my quad.
When chambering a round, the rim won't slide in under the extractor causing the bullet to enter the barrel at the wrong angle. Shaving off some lead.
It seems there's too much spring-pressure on the extractor. When trying w/o a spring, it feeds just fine. I've also tried to cut a spring, but by the time it start feeding ok there's not enough tension to extract the round. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Re: Sako Quad feeding-problems

I'm getting nowhere with this.
I've tried different extractor-springs to see if a different tension would solve the problem. No luck.

Then I tried modifying the extractor itself and when I finally got the rounds to feed ok, the gap between the boltface and the extractorclaw was too big for the extraction to work....

So now I need to buy a new extractor just to be back on square one.
