I just got a Hot springs Jetsetter LX with the salt water system at the beginning of December. Bought it in the fall on a good special, and took me a bit of time to prep, deliver and set up. So far so good. I’m in it pretty much every day, I jump from cold plunge into hot tub and back. It’s a small 2-3 person tub, I wanted small for the same reason as OP. Its only ever me or me and the wife, no need for a big tub. Makes it easier to clean/drain/refill. Still uses some chlorine as directed by the freshwater IQ sensor, but less than a standard tub and the salt water makes it less chemical smelling and a nicer experience, feels better when you’re done than standard tubs.
**I’ve also been putting epsom salts into my cold plunge for about a year, I have no hard proof that it is better for me but I do feel better afterward, could be real or could just be in my head/mental. Been cold plunging for 2+ years and just now incorporating the cold/hot protocol. Sauna is next.
For the OP, I’ve only had it 4 months but at this point I’d give it the thumbs up, only complaint is that I wish it was a bit deeper for when I’m sitting, I’m 5’11” and unless I’m laying down in the lounger section it seems a bit shallow. Not much feedback on the jets, I rarely use them. The wife does and she said they work good. Oh yea, and definetly not cheap. But the older I’ve gotten the more I’m trying to prioritize my health much to the chagrin of my wallet. Plunges, hot tub, organic food, etc. I figure I’m a good investment……And I hope the hot tub is too.
