Sam7k- 44 non ASR ok to shoot suppressed

I’m a newbie to AKs and picking up a Sam7K in trade and wondering if I can still mount and shoot suppressed if it’s not the ASR model? Thanks

I’d buy a KNS piston and shoot the hell out of it suppresses.
