Might be the wrong crowd here but for the discriminating AK collector who has everything....
I had bought an unissued AIMS-74 parts kit when they were available and had a SAR-2 converted. I bought the SAR from the original owner who said he had put 2 mags through it before becoming a safe queen. Based on the (lack of) parts wear I am inclined to believe that. The gas block, front sight assembly, flash hider, cleaning rod, bolt carrier, sling, folding stock, bakelite grip and handguard and wood foregrip are all off an unfired AIMS-74 and are correct to the build. This as close as you can get to a new AIMS-74 without the fun switch working. I never fired the rifle after the conversion, but I did use a laser bore sight and checked the irons which are centered up as they should be.
Looking to get $2150 shipped to your FFL.
