I just puchased a new rifle that had a Satern 26" fluted stainless barrel with palma contour. Its the first one I have ever heard of. Can anyone tell me about them? How are then in respect to Rock, Bartlien, krieger, etc...

Got one to install sitting in the corner. I am told very good things about there barrels. They are a cut rifled barrel

Satern was one of the first to get on board with things like 6.5 grendel. IIRC, they also made/make some barrels for the SAW... don't quote me on that, but I think I remember seeing one at a MG shoot.
I wouldn't hesitate to use one.

Friend of mine has a 6.5 Grendel with Satern barrel, shoots very well.
I've got a 260 Rem with Satern barrel, shoots well and cleans up quick.
Working on getting a couple more Satern barrels if that tell you anything.

Great barrels, worst customer service in the industry. Can't be reached over the phone, but may return a phone call if you mention canceling an order. From what I can gather they are the best 6.5 Grendel barrel around, but with a 3-6 month wait.

I have one clambered in my 6mm Competition Match...it hammers. That's all I can say about it.

If his bbls are anything like his 20MOA bases, they don't get any better. Ya might have to wait, but you will not get a better product.

My rifle is coming with a satern barrel, it sound like it should be fine. I hope I never have to call for any reason, but I dont see why I would.

One of my 6.5 Grendel uppers has a Satern barrel. It is a good barrel.

I shot a match with his dad Wayne. Steve was shooting sling down the line. Very good people. I do believe they make as good as barrel as anybody. Some friends of mine that is all they shoot. You won't go wrong with them.
