Savage 10 PC .223 will it fit in AI chassis?

Hi I'm looking at the Savage 10 precision carbine in .223 and wanted to find out if anyone knows if the AICS for Savage would fit. From what I could find, the only description for that AI chassis is that it fits the model 10 short action. Is it possible that the Savage 10pc in .223 would drop in and all I would need is the .223 mag?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

From what I've read it will fit the 4.4 spacing on your PC but it looks like the AICS is only set up for the side bolt release and not the trigger guard release that I'm sure your PC has.

I thought long and hard about getting it also but without knowing if there was a way to modify the chassis for the bottom bolt release, I'm holding off.
Of course you could just loosen the two screws and pop the B.A out when you need to get the bolt out, not the end of the world by any means.
