My wife bought herself a savage 11 243 that shoots pretty good but the plastic stock is garbage as they usually are and I want to upgrade it. Only stocks I've seen for these rifles that offer an adjustable comb, a vertical style grip and wider foreend are boyds provarmint, boyds at-one, and xlr chassis. My question is cdi offers a dbm to fit aics mags and they said they utilize a post to make the bottom bolt release still function. So will the mcmillan a5 with savage 10 inlet work with this rifle

I bought a top bolt release h-s precision stock for my 111 that is a bottom bolt release gun. It fit perfectly and everything functions just as it should. When I bedded it I filled in where the top bolt release should be.

Here is the pictures. Not sure if it makes a difference but I did ditch that piece of crap accutrigger. You can see in the pics where I ground a little out of the inside of the stock where the bolt release is. It was not completely necessary. It worked without doing it. But it was really tight.
