Went to the Range today to use their Chrono. I was wondering what everyone else is getting for muzzle velocity using the stock 1-10 twist barrel with federal 168gr Match?

Not sure what mv is/was but was holding 2.25 mils for mine at 400 at around 5k'asl with handloads mimicing m118lr loads.

You guys with 10FPs, what is the average distance to your lands? I picked up a 10FCP McMillan and measured the DBM and was pleased to see that the magazine would allow for possibly as much as 3" COAL. I measured the distance to the lands with 155 Scenars though and got 2.848" COAL, base to tip.

I'm loading 175 Matchkings for my 10fcp and get 2.235 to the lands. I'm backing off .020 for my loads.
