Looking to either sell or trade my Savage chambered in 7SAUM. Picked it up from a fellow hide member and it has been really fun to shoot. Previous owner stated around 400 rounds fired and I have fired approximately 60 rounds since owning it, but I picked up an ARC CDG to build so I am letting this go. Here are the details:

What contour is the barrel? What is the diameter approximately at the muzzle?

I’m unsure of the exact contour, but it’s .850 at the muzzle and 1.25 at the breech. Barrel is 26” and Rifle weighs 12lbs.

If this was a 8 or 8.5 twist I would be all over it. 9 twist scares me for the heavies.

Understood. My load was with 180gr hybrids at 2950. Previous owner also shot the 180s out to 1500yds.

Bump. Open to offers. Shot about another 100rds through it to develop a load using 162 ELDMs to mag feed and still shoots great, but would like to get this sold. Does not have a heavy bolt lift and is very smooth. Now also including 200 162gr bullets.
