I have a Savage B-mag 17 WSM that I acquired many years ago. Guy used it as a night time predator hunting rifle. It has a stripped rail to receiver bolt head, questionable threads on the rear stock to receiver and a "custom" sand painted textured original stock. I shot it once just to see if it shot and it did. I have no use for it, hence it's been sitting in the safe for years. I know when .17 WSM first came out it was marketed as the fastest rimfire cartridge, but I haven't kept up on it. Also not the biggest fan of Savage.
Looking to get rid of it but don't know if I should fix it up (new stock/receiver rail/threads) or get rid of it as it is because a new one is not too much.
Looking for some insight from the community on this.
