Newbie here with dumb question. I have a Savage Model 11 in 260 Rem that is a good shooter. Have a Savage BA Stealth in 6.5 Creedmoor that I no longer will be using. Before I sell off either, just wonder if the Stealth chassis would accept the Model 11 action?

Pretty sure MDT makes the Savage BA Stealth chassis...looks like an MDT LSS chassis:

I have no experience so can't speak from facts *but* the MDT LSS chassis system will fit both Savage 10 and 11 short/long actions so as long as the actions are both short actions I'd bet it'll fit perfectly. I'm running an MDT-LSS XLGen2 on Savage 10 FCP in 6.5 CM and when I ordered it they said it would also fit the Savage 11 short action.

If the screw spacing and location of the bolt release is the same, then yes.
Of course, you could just swap barrels, but that requires some tools and a headspace gage.

As @Vodoun daVinci has correctly pointed out, we make the chassis for the Savage Stealth and Stealth Evolution, both of which will fit the model 10/11/12 (repeater) actions providing that they have the top bolt release and newer 4.400" action screw spacing. The chassis are specific to Savages requirements, but are similar to our LSS-XL Gen2 chassis.

Thanks all. I might be in luck as I do have a top bolt release and the action screws appear to be 4.4" apart. I am just thinking about how to proceed. Santa brought me a LH Tikka Tac A1 in 6.5 CM. While I love the accuracy of the CM, I like the extra speed of the 260. I was amazed by how much longer the OAL in the Tikka setup is versus the Stealth (.1").

Is it compatible with your buttstocks? My Stealth Evolution came with a Magpul PRS3, and the cheek riser doesn't come up far enough.

Chiming in late, but for whatever its worth; I went with the MDT Skeleton Rifle Stock V5 (Short Version) with the folder adapter to replace the Magpup PRS3 for the same reason. I put the PRS3 on a Seekins build where it works great. Super happy with the choice in the end, but I also changed the thick rail for a Xtreme rail with rings, and lost the unwanted NV Bridge too. I switched the grip to a Royal Arms and the trigger to a Rifle Basix SAV-2. Changing the stock and trigger each made huge improvements, all the changes worked together to where when I get behind it now, the rifle feels like it was made to fit me. Now getting consistent 3 Round groups under .5 (and the occasional sub .25) with off the shelf Hornady American Gunner 140gr. I'm sure I will get around to loading for it someday if I can ever stop grinning and stop piling up brass.
