I have changed a metric shit ton of Salvage barrels over the years and I have had some tight ones but this one took the cake. The barrel and barrel nut were throwaways and the situation deteriorated to a couple of 18” pipe wrenches and a propane torch and the fucker still wouldn’t budge until I broke out the grinder (calm down Turdcutter308, I didn’t say Grindr). To make a short story long I won.

That is entirely possible, I gave it a 24 hour soak with WD-40 before I started and it didn’t make a bit of difference. I think my grinder cut through the tack welds.
