Savage MK II TRR SR, with the supplied funky base with rails all over it.
Falcon Menace 5-25x56mm FFP / ML16
Seekins 30mm rings (I forget the height, but the scope just BARELY clears the barrel).

With the scope cranked all the way UP (as high as it will go), I can zero it @ ~50yds.

Does this sound normal? I had previously mounted this scope on a Marlin 22LR w/20MOA base and didn't notice any issues.

I figured I'd order an 20 MOA EGW (open to alternate suggestions) when they become available.

I have he same issue with a Savage Mark II FV-SR. I have to crank the elevation all the way up on my Leupold 3.5-10 to get it zeroed.

I could be wrong but I was under the impression the rails all come off and a normal 1 5/8" ejection port EGW base would fit. If that is the case I just ordered one and mounted it up. Midway had them in stock as of last week. Either way good luck.
