Ok guys, still learning about this rifle. Just got my Savage MKII FVT today and received my tacticool stock a few days ago. I've been searching all over the interwebz and can't really find anything other than threads and reviews talking about trigger guards and bottom metal but can't actually find where to find and buy this stuff. If someone would be so kind as to point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much!

I bought the same rifle last year and bought the Boyds Tacticool stock when it came out. Call Savage and tell them what rifle you have and what stock you bought. They may want your serial number to verify which receiver you have. You will need different bottom metal as well as the trigger guard. They sent the wrong bottom metal twice in a row, but now that these Boyds stocks have been out a while, they should know which parts to send you. Have them send 2 or 3 of the oval shaped bottom metals and layer them. The Boyds stocks are rather weak and the extra metal will help reinforce that area. I just ended up making my own bottom metal out of heavier gauge steel.
