Hi all
I am wondering if any of you have used, looked at a Savage MKIIFVT. The T stands for the factory peep sights.
Just wondering the quality of what the sights are.
Thanks

I have one I've had for several years. Agree that the stock could be better. Agree that the sights the rifle comes with aren't bad at all. Not the highest dollar sights, but they are good.

had one, replaced the stock with a tacticool. Sights are decent, but not up to par with anschutz/gehmann/walther/etc (but for the price, what do you expect). If you are not set on a repeater, watch gunbroker for older anschutz 54 and walther kkm.

check my signature line for my fvt build up. It was a great shooter, but I replaced the stock and added an adjustable buttplate, replaced the bottom metal with 1/8", and replaced the trigger with a rifle basix. For the money (I think they are about $360ish new), I would just buy a used single shot anschutz or walther (or maybe try to find a marlin 2000 with the 5-shot kit). Like I said, my fvt shot great with good ammo, but I have a walther gx1 that shoots a lot better (better than me, too), and the quality and resale will be a lot better also. If you can live with the stock, or find a good deal on a used one and like it, buy it.

Thanks for the advice, I do enjoy my MKIIFV a lot.
Adding peep sights to that is a bit of money. So I was thinking why not just get the gun for just a little bit more.
I mean, who doesn't need another gun?
Thanks
