I bought a Savage model 10 with a 20" bull bbl and Chaote Ultimate Sniper stock and was wondering if Savage put out a model like that. One of the Savage reps came down to demo some guns at a local rang, so I showed it to him and he didn't really know. He thought it might have been a Scout or LE Sniper model but couldn't confirm. Later I seen another rifle identical to it in a SOG ad. I was wanting to get some other input on this rifle

Cabela's is the only place I know that sells a savage with the choate tactical stock. It is exclusive to them. Not sure of the stock barrel length, though.

The Cabela's exclusive doesn't utilize the "Ultimate Sniper Stock". Savage did use the folding version on the older Model 10FP with the 20" barrel.

In I believe 2005 I bought a savage 10 308 with 26" barrel and the ultimate sniper stock from a gun shop new. I don't know if it was offered in any other length though
