Ok. So I am a little on the slow side, especially before I have had my coffee. What does this mean exactly?
Sorry. The entire article didn’t load for me the first time I clicked on it. I got it now... no coffee needed. 😂
This could be somewhat devastating to the industry we all enjoy so much.

    This news is months old.
Yup. Old news. Remington shut down the DPMS and Bushmaster brands completely, except for one .50 Cal bolt gun from Bushmaster product line I think.

DPMS used to supply a huge amount of parts for other assemblers, so it was a shock to everyone. Bushmaster had just become a brand name they purchases, as they shut down the operations in Maine after 5 years of stringing that along per the contract with the owner of Bushmaster. He went on to pick up the pieces and form Windham Weaponry, basically following the original Bushmaster market approach and SKU structure, but lost that more impotent recognizable brand and logo that took decades to build.

In business, branding and logos are more important than the product, otherwise there isn't recognition, referral, and reputation to be built upon. A good logo and brand is extremely hard to form and build from the ground-up.
