Selling factory new SIG Sauer P320 M17 special edition pistol a side note from SIG Sauer Back in 2016, our military was hard at work selecting its next standard issue service sidearm. It was to replace the trusty but aging Beretta M9. Many companies submitted pistols, including SIG Sauer. SIG developed the MHS, a militarized version of its popular P320 pistol, and it was this design that was officially adopted as the M17 in January of 2017. Over the next decade, the M17 will be replacing several older handguns throughout all branches of the military.
This variant has all of the same features and advancements of the military pistol and is even roll marked M17 with a special M17 prefixed serial number. This variant has both the frame and slide in Coyote Tan, and the metal has a PVD treatment for harsh environments. The pistol is about 8" long, with a 4.7" barrel. It weighs in at about 29 oz, and has a trigger with a 5 to 6 lb pull weight.
Other features include: OEM SIGLite Night Sights, removable DP Pro Plate for attaching an RMR, ambidextrous safety, ambidextrous slide release, reverseable mag catch, milspec loaded chamber indicator, milspec Picatinny rail for lights/lasers under the barrel, lanyard loop for US GI lanyards, and front and rear slide serrations. The M17 is a modular design, so the frame can be swapped out, as can the barrel and slide for different lengths or calibers. It has many other features too. It comes with 2 high-cap smags, special SIG patch, manual, and serial matched hardcase. asking $400 shipped to your FFL.
