    Guys,

The scammers are out there, they are bouncing IP addresses to hide their location

Look at email addresses, if you never heard it, be careful.

They almost always refer to a woman, wife etc doing something for them.

Get details, get a PHONE NUMBER to confirm they are US Based and not using a drop

We have shored up our registered manually checking accounts and ban a lot each day, but some slip through the cracks

User Names can be a red flag too, If the email address matches the username I will ban them if they look odd, but that is another red flag

They have a system to trick you out of either sending product or money, you need to do your homework as all we can do is ban the account

Well shit, I’m guilty of a couple of these sometimes. Including selling this guy ^ a scope that had a different reticle than I listed it as because I didn’t double check a trade in. Time to tighten up I guess.

Take the whole statement in context. " if they look odd".
I see them often as requests for membership - xxxrt90s username with an email of [email protected] using a proxy server or an IP from India typically doesn't get far.

By the same token, BullridingDude88 with an email address of [email protected] doesn't get much traction either.
