Something happened to my scopes windage adjustment. I had to dial a bunch of R windage my last outing. I rezeroed my windage dial before leaving home today. My 1st 5shot group today, I'm still left some 9", resetting to my previous adjustment and I'm back to target center. Dialing my elevation setting off Bullet Flight for the yardage and its spot on.

I don't understand why my windage changed. Theres no one to play with anything, it hasn't been dropped bumped, what would cause the change? My scope is 6 months old, no damage of any kind. Its always torqued to mfg recommend setting. The same goes with the mount and rings. I haven't had any issue until now.

What flavor scope?
have your loads changed at all?
Are your groups holding from outing to outing?
Did you start from scratch to eliminate ANY variables? (Take everything off, down to bare receiver. Redo mount, check torque. Redo rings, check torque. Remove action from stock, redo, check torque.)

Uhm..you check parallax?

Just trying to help man.

Re: Scope Adjustment Drifting

Turret Caps
Cap Screws Tight
Cap has not been removed since the scope was originally zero
Elevation is still dead on.
TPS Rings 15ilbs, cross shaft screws 65ilbs
Nightforce 20MOA rail
Never Dropped, no damage

You still haven't given us the brand of scope...

Re: Scope Adjustment Drifting

Love when people come on here asking for help/suggestions, people offer it, and then you never hear from them again. Knowing what fixed someones problem is the least the OP could do. It might help someone out down the line.
