Scope base & rings for 500 yards

This is my first year competing in PRS style competitions with my RPR. Over the offseason I’m switch from a Athlon Argos in MOA to a gen 2 Vortex Viper in MILS.

I’m also building a Kidd 10/22 with the identical scope so I can shoot Sat & Sun

The scope upgrade will be a giant leap for myself but I’m unsure how to address the issue of running out of adjustment for the 450-500+ targets.

The RPR has a 30moa base and I’m not smart enough nor experienced enough understand if I use a 30MOA base and 10MOA in the rings will I be able to zero in on targets 50-500 yards away?

Hell, I don’t even know if there’s a 40MOA base OR you add MOA to the rings or how this would be accomplished.

Thoughts from those more experienced?

Thank you.

Not certain about the RPR but for those that have the dovetails on their actions I use the BKL adjustable 3mm mount with great success... they get my Benjamin marauder .25 cal out to 200yds. Also was able to hit a rock with my 22lr at 529yds using it. Solid product. Link below
