Scope bottomed out at my zero - any downside?

I am running a Vortex Viper 5x25 with a 20 MOA rail and 15 more MOA provided by Burris Signature rings. With this configuration I have 1.5 MRAD of elevation below my 50 yard zero.

The question is ‘what am I giving up?’ Or ‘is there a reason not to do this?’

thanks,
Fritz

Most optics are a bit better near the center, so at your zero you may give up some clarity. I can’t say I’ve ever noticed a huge difference though. Having all your elevation up is quite nice on a 22 if you’ll be shooting longer distances.
