I currently in the works of switching setups from 5.56 to 6arc , gonna try to trade my NF NXS 3.5-15x50mm h59 with badger c1 mount w/accessories(cosine indicator , level, clif w/rmr plate and diving board) for a 6 arc upper if possible.
I will be with out a scope once I trade,
What scope do you guys recommend that fits the best bang for buck from 5-900 dollar range?

I had an 18 inch 6arc for about 30 seconds and it wore a Bushnell DMR 2 pro.

Nothing wrong with the scope you talked about either, had one of them with the velocity 1000 reticle a ways back and it was a decent scope

Something in the 2/3-15/18X range.

Eurooptic has some great deals on the Steiner T6 series right now. The 2.5-15 or 3-18 would do nicely in that role. Or the new H6.

Leupold is another decent choice if you are looking for value with decent performance.

If you are not averse to Chinesium then the Athlon Helos BTR Gen2 2-12x42 is a great scope for what you are doing. I would stay on the "lighter" side with 6 ARC as it is a small frame AR and I tend to prefer lighter scopes but that's me and more personal preference than anything else. Also within your price range is the Vortex PST II 3-15x44 and maybe even a used Burris XTR III 3.3-18x50 which is going to be a little heavier but great glass for the price. 10x can easily get you to 1000 yards so you don't need lots of magnification unless you want it for PID.

Other than having plane jane glass that NF F1 is a great scope and H59 is one of my old favorites. Heck you might have my old scope.

I put a Vortex LHT 4.5-22 on my 6mmFatRat AR. Not awesome but not bad either. I don't use this upper for medium distances hardly anymore, basically 550Y on out to 1143Y, so I wanted more magnification than the Helos G2 2-12 has, otherwise I was very happy with it when on that same upper.

A sleeper is the Athon Ares ETR 3-18x50. A friend has one which he loves and I like it a lot too. Edit, IIRC these were on sale recently somewhere for a little over $700.

Like most of us feel, if money was no issue, I'd get a ZCO 4-20.
