Rifle Scopes Scope Covers

I've got Tenebraex, Aadmount, and Defenders on my scopes. Not sure which one I like the best. I didn't like the Aadmounts at first - couldn't get them to close, but once they broke in they're great. I like the push-button opener for the eyepiece. But I can't say I have a real favorite. Tenebraex and Aadmount seem a little more "refined" than the Defenders. You'll do fine with any of them as long as you get the right fit, and you don't get Butler Creek. (That's a real shame, because they used to be good but they are worthless now).

I had Aadmounts on all my Razor Gen iis I ran, no complaints other than the 100$ price tag which from looking at the Tenebraex it is about the same. If I was to do it now I will probably go Defender seem legit. But I will say the lifetime warranty is nice with the Aadmounts and I have cashed in on it before. I still had cap it just ended up loosening up it was one of the I guess older models that did not have the tension screw so it just wasn't holding on hit up Aadmount and they sent me out a replacement no questions, I think they just wanted the old one back if I recall.

IMO after spending ~2000+ on a scope a 1000$ seems worth it for a heavy use optic. If you have luxury of being able to have a flagship scope on a safe queen that only sees a range and not the field than BCs are probably fine.

Aadmounts on my Razor Gen II, and Tenebraex on my Steiner. Both are good to go....Never tried the Defenders..

Defenders work great. Have them on my 3 Razor IIs and AMG. No complaints. I like the way they lock flat back against the scope.

I didn't think Vortex offered the Defenders for the razor when I was looking. I went with the AAD caps. Yes, they are expensive but they are built right, I have no complaints in terms of quality and design.

The defenders represent a great value in scope caps. The cap for the occular on both my gen II'S has loosened a bit but a small piece of automotive 3M Tape beneath the rubber "slip over" solved the problem quite nicely.
