Anyone find a decent scope for a .22 pistol? I have a red dot on my MkIII, but looking to get a regular scope.

I had a Leupold M8 2x on a Buckmark 5.5 Target years ago. Great scope, but switched it out for a tasco pro point and had much more fun with the red dot. Put the M8 on my 1895G as a scout scope - a better application if you ask me. The M8 was big and heavy for the 22.

I own a couple Burris scopes, a 2x and a 2-7x. Both mounted on TC Encore Pistol Barrels. The 2x has handled .44 mag recoil without issue. The variable power is on a 7.62x39. Both are clear and bright. The 2-7x's field of view shortens up considerably going past 4x toward 7x. At 7x there is a black ring in the FOV at arms distance. At 7x I need a steady rest.
