whats a good scope for target shooting with my rem 40x 22lr thats around 1,000.00 ? dont know if i want to shoot in competition or just for fun with it as of it yet but 1000.00 would be max i can go for a scope thanks guys

If you can get a Unertal that would be nice. Your gun should have the correct blocks. If it doesnt ill give you a pair. The Unertal is a good scope but it takes some getting use to

for $1,000, i'll carry the bullet 100yards for you
no don't need to spend $1,000 to have great glass. but there's a whole bunch of options out there up to $1,000, first make sure of what you want to do. for target / bullseye shooting, fine cross hairs or a target dot is the shit.
figure out first what you need, then tack on what you want, that'll help narrow down the options

TP is right on the amount spent but, it's your money. Personally, I'm with you so sub-1K I'm looking at the Vortex PST for these reasons.
Glass for the money, design options (magnification,reticle,subtensions,1st OR 2nd focal plane) & warranty.
