I got my Badger MAX 50 rings (standard height) for my TAC 50 and I got the scope mounted. Here is my question...the scoe has .015" clearance at the bell and sun shade...but it only has .007" clearance from the curvature of bell to the recoil lug. It doesn't hit and the scpe height is perfect for my cheek weld but how close is to close? Will the scope flex enough during recoil to hit? The high rings are to high.
It looks awesome mounted that low and I could move the scoe forward just a little which would help the clearnance at the recoil lug but it will still only have .015 at the barrel.
