So I'm still new to the long range scene, and after reading up on various rifles, I have decided on a howa for my first build. But I don't quite know yet what optic I want to use. I do already have a scope that I got from a trade a while back, But I have no information on it other than it's made by BSA, 1/8" @ 100yards(1/8 MOA) turret adjustment, it's Variable magnification, and it has an adjustable parallax. I know sooner or later I will have to invest in a decent optic, but is there anyone who knows more about this scope that may be able to tell me if this is even a viable option for hunting/targets at say 600-800 yards for the moment?
