so a friend of mine got a used rifle and was having issues asked me to take a look rifle is a light barrel profile remington 308 in an AI chassis with and the scope in question... scope was mounted canted which was not helping his issues and was honestly kinda complicated for his use which for now is just hunting so i switched that out for him and worked up a load to get the rifle shooting around 1-1.25 moa which i think is probably what the gun is capable of and acceptable for a short to medium range hunting rifle which is what that barreled action is good it will get a new stock next year and the AI chassis will get an entirely different barreled action
which brings me to the scope.... its is a springfield armory branded ffp scope made in japan i assume it was made for m1a package that said a basic search on the net did not reveal much info i have no idea what the reticle is matched for i would guess federal gm 168s but cant be for sure, i have no idea who made it for springfield, additionally my friend doesnt want it an i have no use for it but don't really know what to ask for it or how/where to market it any help or insight would be appreciated
