For those of you who have used both. Does the push button adjustments like on the USO's and IOR's offer greater adjustments than the standard dials employed by most other manufacturers? I'm looking for something that adjusts more like an Eotech. Don't much care about being daylight bright but I want to be able to use it at night without "washing" out the target.

Thanks,
Steve.

I've had two push buttons, USO SR-8s and March 3-24x42, but a few different dial types... S&B, Steiner, Bushnell (2 different styles).

Out of all I've tried, I prefer the dial types on the newer Bushnell and Steiner, with an off position between each on position.

The type of control has nothing to do with the quality or intensity of the illumination, though.

Also, the type of illumination control is not a huge consideration for me when selecting a scope, but whether it is illuminated may be. Generally factors like mag range, cost, weight, glass quality, reticle position (FFP/SFP) dictate which scope I buy, and if illumination is offered, I don't get to pick what style control it comes with. Unless the control is terrible, it's not much of an issue.
