I'm building a Vudoo V22 for NRL Matches and I've settled on Vortex PST G2 5-25X50 as my scope (30mm main tube).
While in my center-fire rifle I used a Spuhr mount (as I understood the amount of recoil of my rifle really demanded a VERY STRONG scope mount to keep the scope from shifting and moving around), I'm questioning whether or not a Spuhr mount would be needed for a 22LR rifle since the amount of recoil is much less than my center-fire rifle...
That being said, what is your thought process when selecting a scope mount for a 22LR rifle? Also, which scope mount do you currently use?
