Scope mount question

First I was going to buy a bolt rifle for my wife but think again I want to buy a complete upper from stage Model 6H. So that she can swap the upper 16" and 20" whenever she wants. But now I'm running into a problem buy mount for a flatform upper. I scope will be a Nikon 3-12x42 M223, how high of the scope mount do I need or what type of scope mount I need. Please help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Larue Tactical LT-104 would work perfect.

Generally you want a mount that will put the center line of the optic ~1.5" above the upper.

As Nihonjin said, the LaRue Tactical LT-104 is a solid choice.

Another option is the LT-139, which gives you even greater eye relief.

Just make sure the ring diameter is appropriate for the Nikon scope.

I have a larue 104 with a nightforce mounted works perfect.

you can't go wrong with larue products but if you just want rings go with a high set and it will give you the proper eye relief.
