Scope mount recommendations

I’m waiting for my preowned (300 rounds) gap surgeon xl 338 rifle to show up from a fellow hide member and should have a gen 2 razor here in a few weeks. I’m looking at possibly pulling the manners t2a off and putting it in a AI ax chassis so will need a mount around 1.5” high ( I think) that I will use with the manners stock for now .My question is what mount? Spuhr seems a little out of my budget at the moment and was wondering what else fits the bill and is still great quality? Found some American Defense recon Qi mounts in the $160 range and some AI mounts for a little over $200. What else should I be looking at? Thanks in advance

Also with the built in 30 moa of the pic rail on the action how much more moa of cant can I get and still have a 100 yard zero with the gen 2 razor?

I really, really, really like these American Rifle Co M-10 rings.

Their XL one is 1.42" to center. Not sure if that will work for you but it is their tallest rings.

I also run Leupold Mk 4 rings and think they too are very high quality but their highest is 1.4" to center.

With 40 MOA should be able to get a 100 yard zero. My 338LM is built on a Deviant with a Spuhr 20 MOA mount which gives the rifle a total of 40 MOA and have a 100 yard zero with a S&B 5-25 PMII.

Also what makes the spuhr so much better than the others and is it worth it? Either new or buying used?
