I know we have all seen many videos and articles on scopes being reviewed and tested and hit with steel plates or nails or whatever. Does anyone know of similar analysis done on scope mounts/rings?
I know the scope testing is the sexier thing to look at but I haven't seen really any articles/videos of mounts being tested, anybody know of a review/head-to-head comparison? I'm sure manufacturers do some type of testing but these results I'm thinking are private, any public sources for testing data? Anything to prove (within the sample size reviewed) that yes since brand X is the most $ its really the best/most durable?
Something like Spuhr vs Seekins vs Nightforce vs Badger, etc.
Apologies if I missed an article/thread/review that covers the above topic.
