Is there a real solid solution for a scope rail that extends out far enough over the barrel for my 527 varmint? I have one from DIP and I am less than impressed with the mounting design.

I have a Warne. It is heavy duty but tall. Also had an Area 419. See the comments on the Warne. Both super solid mounts. My 457 currently has a DIP rail on it and it has been rock solid!
i wanted to use a rail but didn’t like the options. I used sportsmatch rings with a stop pin. The Swfa 6x I’m using has plenty of adjustment for my current uses.
