Scope recomendations for Ruger Precision Rimfire and NRL22 Base

Hey Guys. First post here.

I need some recomendations on a scope for my Ruger Precision Rimfire I just purchased. My Plan is to start shooting in the monthly NRl22 matches in the base class. I'm looking for something that will serve my needs, and not break the bank.

Need Parallax down 25 yards
Prefer FFP



I have viewed this. Not sure if I should just go with Primary arms or jump to the Vortex Diamondback... or other options

You want my two cents:
I would go to gun shop, or sporting good store such has BassPro Shop, that sells scopes, and they have rifle stock which they mount scopes to it so you can view at different distances to get idea of your needs.
You need to see it up close and personnel, cause you don't want the hassle to return if you buy sight unseen from recommendations.
If you get recommendations go look, and test before buying, and you will see the difference in prices and quality!

This is gonna price me out of the Base class. Gotta stay under $1050 MSRP for the rifle and glass.

Thanks guys. Decided to go with the Vortex Diamondback 4-16x44 FFP. Sport Optics gave me a good deal on one.

I've got the 6-24x50 on my upgraded 10-22 and really like it.

I just got my RPR Rimfire and I put a Bushnell Engage 4x16x44 on it. Paid about $300 for it. It's night an S&B, but honestly it's not too damned bad.
