I have a Rem 700 sps tactical with a picatiney rail. I also have a Mark 4 4.5x14. I want to put some Nightforce rings on it but need help with right height to get it as low as possible
not sure if you have access to a good local store with the parts you want but a couple of my local store will fit rings and scopes on your gun when you aren't sure what will work on your gun. Also dont forget to account for lens caps when you are trying to get the scope as low as possible
and dont forget to take into account the measurement with scope caps fitted.
i made that little error when i got high rings and didnt take into account the tenebraex caps. it meant i had to spend twice. no biggie as i can use those on another rifle one day but not a cheap error.
